Am I insane?! I just made a 6ft+ Mandala! This thing is HUGE! I have learned many new stitches and techniques. All of them were so very fun. Each round was something new and beautiful.
I started this crochet project back in August and here, in November, I am finally putting the last stitch in it. Yea! Moments like these deserve a picture:) 
I absolutely LOVE this afghan. The colors are bright and bold. The Scheepjes yarn is so soft and snuggly.

I even had a little photo shoot with it to celebrate!
But everyone knows that a beautiful, SWEET, young, red-head makes a much better model:)
And absolutely nothing can beat a cute little 2 year old with his happy smile about being on a new blankey!

Now it is time to place this masterpiece in a box with red and green wrapping for my daughter in law since she didn’t get s crocheted creation at her wedding. I know she will cherish it:)

Gorgeous!!! I love the burst of sunny yellow in that outer row…….a bright happy (retro 70s) piece that will surely be loved!!!!!!

Yes yes yes I would do it again! I would use brick reds, warm yellows, avocado greens and dusty purple:). Fun question Kathy!

Oh it will! The hardest part is to keep motivated at rounds 12-16. But it will look beautiful for sure:)

I’m on round 9 so far, it’s big already, I’m doing black white and grey, I’ll try and stay motivated for round 12 thank you ☺️

Tracy it is beautiful. I love the bright vibrant colors. Also I am jealous! I am working on my Mandala again and am on part 16 so I am nearing the finish line, but each round is taking longer and longer. My goal is to finish this and then catch up on my other CALS. What will you be crocheting next?

I know what you mean! Those last three rounds seem to take FOREVER!! But they look so nice and it is worth it worth it:). I can’t wait to see yours! I am finishing up my peacock bag. I ordered a new strap because I didn’t like the one they sent with my kit. I am also working on my shawl and some pot holders. Oh the life of a crochet addict!

I ordered a green leather and chain one from ebay. They had so many nice ones for $20-30. It was hard to choose:). I am also going to use a lot of the hardware off of an old purse that I have been using but is way ready for retirement
