Well, I haven’t been actually hand quilting these past three weeks, but as I reported last time, I have been working on a baby blanket for a new grandson who is due any day now. Yea!!!

I am happy to say that it is complete and waiting to wrap around a cute little baby. Happy smiles and more happy smiles here:)

I designed this little afghan as a Sensory Blanket. There are lots of textures and holes for little hands to feel and explore. I must admit that I am addicted to running my hands over it too. Lol!
I added some crocheted “taggies” to the bottom and top edges as well. I think they add that cherry on top to the blanket

All in all- I can say I have finished zero paper pieced stars, but have used my evening stitch time to finish one fantastic sensory blanket! Isn’t it great?

Now, all I can do is fold this little blanket up and wait and wait and wait….. maybe next week!

It’s a wonderful day! Thank you for stopping by:).

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.
