HQAL Update

I have been sewing away on my English Paper Piecing. I brought my little box full of supplies along on my Fall cruise, and stitched on the sea days and airplane flights. I am pleased to say I have 25 little pieced flowers done.

I would stitch in the large resting areas while relaxing and enjoying the view. I met so many nice people who would stop and ask what I was doing. They would ask about the technique, the pattern, and the teeny little stitches. We would visit about where we were from, and what their creative interests were. It was so much fun!

I had the best sewing seat ever. The dancers came and practiced right in front of me!! It was a perfect day:)!

Now that I am home, I will only be able to sew in the evenings My entertainment will be my favorite TV binge with my hubby. What are we watching now? — Professional Bull Riding finals!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! If you want to join along in the hand sewing fun, here is how-

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

      1. I really was envious of that one you just did. My DH is 76 and disabled and no longer able to do them. I love cruising though!

  1. ooooo!! I LOVE your EPP! Your fabrics are so pretty and that you were sewing on a cruise is divine. We went on a cruise last summer – I didn’t think about bringing my EPP, I brought my knitting instead – next time though I’ll bring both.

  2. Those are wonderful, and 25! Whoohoo! The dance video was cool, thanks for sharing that. It sounds like you had a great time. When we were on the road, my favorite channel was probably RFD – Rural Farm District – because of things like bull riding championships, rodeos of all kinds, tractor pulling contests, pumpkin festivals – all the really interesting things I never knew I needed to know about. LOL
