I have finished my beautiful Posh Penelope Quilt! It has taken about 6 months, a lot of cutting, organizing, and sewing, but man oh man was it worth it! This has been a fun adventure for sure:).

The pattern and the special curved ruler are at Sew Kind of Wonderful. They have a few other patterns that are calling my name…. Who knows, maybe I will be starting another curved masterpiece soon:)
But in the meantime, I am going to sit back and just enjoy the fruits of my labor. I hope you will enjoy these pictures as well. Sometimes it can be just as fun to enjoy the pictures without having to do the work lol!:)

All those happy flower blocks in different colors really make me smile:)

I love the the little quilted flowers that mimic the the flowers in the quilt. They are absolutely perfect!

The backing is a soft, velvety burnt orange that is oh so snuggly . It was a remnant of fabric that has been waiting in my sewing room for years. I bought it on sale at a fabric store for like a dollar a yard so I bought the whole bolt!

I am very pleased with black binding. I think it compliments the colors very well.

Each block has been its own little mini quilt. That really helps to keep the enthusiasm going.

And this one too…

It’s been a beautiful day. I thank you so much for stopping by and sharing some of your day with me. Please feel free to comment and follow along.
In the meantime, I hope your day is full of SWEET creative time.

Happy Easter! Thank you for adding more beauty to our world.

Thank you so much!! Sometimes I try to calm the colors down, but my eye just is pulled to the bright scrappy fabrics. Isn’t it funny how we all have our fabric loves? Lol!! I hope you have a wonderful day:)❤️❤️

It’s lovely, so colourful! I’m very impressed with all the curved seams too, I avoid them like the plague!!

Curved seams are definitely intimidating, but really, I promise, these were a breeze! 😊❤️

I love your finish, and the whole look of the quilt. It looks so much more difficult until I realize that the corners are what make that little square between blocks. Great finish!
