Oh no! Company is coming and I’m not ready! I still need to finish cleaning the kitchen, set the table and make the salad. I still haven’t made dessert! What am I going to do?!

Don’t worry:). All you need is this Dump Cake, and you are ready to go!

Don’t let the name fool you. This is a delicious cobbler type cake. The fruit and nuts are a perfect finish to an evening meal. And best of all, this cake is so quick to make!

You probably have the ingredients in your pantry right now. All you need is any kind of cake mix, a can or two of canned fruit (any type), butter and nuts. That’s it.

You dump the fruit with all of the juice onto the baking dish. Dump the cake mix on top. No mixing! Pour melted butter over the mix, again no mixing, and sprinkle with nuts. Ready for the oven!

Bake for an hour and let the magic happen. It cooks up into a delicious nutty cobbler. You can put this in right before your company arrives, visit, eat dinner, and then pull it out of the oven and serve it hot with a scoop of ice cream. SWEET!

Yum!! Happy Valentine’s Day to you! I hope you enjoy the day with your loved one or a great chick flick!!
