Salem Witches Quilt Guild

It is time to report on my Hand Quilt Along progress and I am excited to say that I’m finally back to stitching on my Salem Witches Quilt Guild panels by Crabapple Hill Studios.

I have been working so long on my Down the Rabbit Hole Quilt that this one has been pushed aside. Well, since I can’t hold my fabric for appliqué for a few months, I just folded my Rabbit quilt up and put it on the shelf until after the cast comes off.

As far as my Quilt Guild quilt goes, I finished coloring all of the panels, and I am happy to say that I have a wonderful embroidery hoop that allows me to stitch with just one hand. Woo hoo!😊

The only hard part now is separating the threads and threading the needle, but that is coming along as well:).

I am falling in love again with this fun little witch Quilting party. I mean really, just look at this poor little witch who was turned into a frog by mistake!

I smiled with every stitch as I looked at the cute expression on this red haired witch. (I have a preference for red heads. I have four red headed children❤️)

I hope all of the other hand quilters are having as much fun with their projects as I am with mine. I’m excited to head over and check them all out.

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link above.

Thank you for dropping by today. I hope you have a wonderful Easter!
