I started this lace shawl back on the plane ride home from Greece last month, but have been busy with finishing my Mandala Madness and Peacock Bag so it has had to wait for a while. Oh, how I wish I had more hands. Hands to hold, hands to clean, hands to worship, and two sets of hands to sew and crochet!:)
It has been a drastic change to work with the delicate, soft, brown camel hair yarn after crocheting with the bright, bold colors that have been constantly around me for months!
I know that this shawl is not blocked yet, but even so, I am loving the lacey pattern and texture. I can just imagine what it will look like all blocked and flat and beautiful!
I got this pattern over on Ravelry. It is called Ilvy. I suppose that is someone’s name? I don’t know, but it is sure pretty. The instructions are clear with a nice diagram.
I am going on a short trip up to Utah for my SWEET nephew’s wedding next week. I hope I can get it done then. Wouldn’t that be fitting? To start and end on a plane. Maybe I will name this beauty–“Airy”!
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope your day is filled with the things you love to do!

This is lovely, Tracy! Can hardly wait to see it all finished and blocked out. I’m sure it’s going to be as much of a joy to wear as it is to make.
