HQAL Progress

Good evening! I am a bit late to the hand quilting report party, but it is better late than never, right? I have been busy finishing my cross country poncho and my little friends quiet book. I’m sad to say that this quilt didn’t get much of my attention.

Oh well- let’s see, last time I reported on Mr Peacock. He looks great!

Now it is time to start cutting again. Here we go!

Sometimes just looking at all of the piles of fabric can be overwhelming, but I do need this fabric. I still have quite a bit more to go.

I spent over an hour cutting marking and arranging one block. It is a messy job! I really like the end results though. This horse is going to be awesome:)

I am very happy to say that this block is my final animal block. Whew! Those were tricky! Now I have eight little wreath blocks that should be a breeze compared to all off the teeny pieces that I have been working with lately.

Thank you so much for dropping by today! If any of you are interested in joining along with this Hand Quilt Along, here is how–

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

  2. I just tried to sign up with my new e-address, but I got a message that my attempt had failed and that I should try again with a valid address. The address I used is a valid address. I am trying to close the old account because it has been hacked and is being used for fraud. Is there any way you can help me.
