Hi friends! It is time to catch up and let you know what has been cooking in my sewing room. I am pleased to say that all of those wretched triangle pieced blocks are done! Now everything is ready for the final Hand Applique
All of the centers did not match up, but they are going to be covered anyway. It’s all good:) I will need to appliqué and then sew everything together before I finish the feet and end leaves of some blocks
It’s a lot of work, but it will be beautiful in the end. In fact, isn’t the process one of the best parts anyway? I just love creating:)❤️

It’s a great day! I am consciously making a decision to focus on the good and limit the negative of the chaos in the news. Life is too short to be ugly, so for what it’s worth, I will quilt and smile at those around me.

Your happy blocks made me smile. I have only appliqued with zigzag. I would like to try needle turn applique. Your work is beautiful.

Love the pinwheels and the chicken! It’s beautiful, looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. It looks like a nice cheerful project to work on too in these troubled times.

That is going to be a beautiful quilt; looking forward to seeing it. It’s so nice to see some lovely needle turned applique, and the colours are perfect for an ageless quilt that should last many years.

Thank you Ann!! I really do enjoy needle turn as well. I agree with you on the color selection. It is not the trendy bright pallet of the day, but the color isn’t too muted either. I’m excited to be on the home stretch!
