This is “Wish Upon a Star” Blog Hop week, and it is my turn to share with you some “starry” fun!

But first I want to thank Carol @ Just Let Me Quilt for organizing this fun hop. Thank you Carol!

I am excited to share with you my Seeing Red Stars Quilt. It is a Buggy Barn pattern which means fun, fun fun! They have a unique way of cutting where you stack your fabrics, cut, move the top of a few cut piles to the bottom and sew them back together again. The end result looks like this:

I just love all of those scrappy star points:). It is hard to believe they are all made with 12 fat quarters of red and 12 fat quarters of white. CRAZY!
Well, that isn’t exactly true. I also had to make hundreds of secondary stars as well.

I was all “Flying Geesed” out by the end. But it was worth it. Here are a few more SWEET eye candy pictures for you to enjoy:

Isnt quilt candy the best kind of candy? No calories!!❤️❤️
GIVE AWAY!!-
“Seeing Red” is in the book, Crazy or Not by The Buggy Barn.

I am giving away a copy of this book to one lucky reader . All you have to do is leave me a comment letting me know how I shade fabric for applique. (Hint–I blogged about it not too long ago!).
You can get a second entry if you are a follower of my blog. How about a third entry? Follow me on Pinterest or IG. That gives you THREE chances to win. Yea!! Please let me know in your comment if you have one, two, or three chances:)

I will put all of the entries in a bowl and draw a winner one week from today. I will post the winner next Friday.
If you don’t win, or just don’t want to enter this awesome give away, you can get a copy of the book here.
I have so enjoyed sharing a few “starry moments” with you today. I hope you will take a moment or two to go over and see what the other talented bloggers have stitched up for you in their sewing rooms:
