I love decorating for Halloween. I love the oranges and purples, the hats, and cute ghosts and spiders:). It is the beginning of the holiday season and fall is in full swing.
When my friend asked if I wanted to join her in making this cute Home is Where the Haunt Is quilt designed by KimberBell, I just jumped right in:)! How could I resist? Just look at this darling little mummy…I was all “wrapped up” with excitement!
I just love all of the extra little pieces that give this little wall hanging quilt extra dimension. Just look at this fuzzy little broom!:)
I used my embroidery machine to stitch the Home Haunt Home sign.
I also took advantage of my sewing machine to quilt-as-you-go all of the blocks and add some spider webs and pumpkins on them as well. The hat really turned out fun with the pretty bow and happy spiders:)
As you can tell, I really enjoyed making this quilt. I am sure that the pattern is still available on line if you want stir one up for your Home Haunt Home:)
I hope you have a great time getting ready for the holiday next week. It’s time to gather up all those SWEETS for little kiddoes!
