I just love making little quilts for toddlers. It is fun to see them snuggle up under it. It is almost like a long distance hug from grandma:)
Here is my finished tractor truck quilt for my second little two year old.
The pattern called for 13 blocks and for it to be on point, but it started being way too big for a little two year old to drag around!
So I just opted for the nine center blocks and called good. I think he is going to love it.
I added a fun striped binding and a blue flannel back. I used one of the extra blocks to write his name on and sew into the backing
Here are a few more close up shots just for fun:)–
If any of you are wanting to make your own tractor quilt, the pattern is from a discontinued book called Crazy Kids by Buggy Barn. You can probably find a copy floating around on the internet somewhere
I am so glad you stopped by today. I hope you have a great day!!
Coming from a family who all love tractors this is fab. 😎

Thank you so much! These tractors are so cute and surprisingly quite easy to make. Sewing the tires was the hardest part! Lol;). Thank you for stopping by today. May all of your toes be straight!!😊❤️

Hi Tracy! This is just SO darn cute. I have this same pattern and have been planning to make it for Dominic’s big boy bed. This turned out just fabulous. You did such a nice job, and thanks for the inspiration to get going on it. ~smile~ Roseanne

Oh Roseanne!! It would be so fun to see how your tractor truck quilt turns out. I love seeing the same pattern with different fabrics. We should have seen together in a long distance quilt along!!❤️❤️

Adorable! I’m sure he will drag it around, drive cars over it, and wear it like a superhero cape. And it’s just so darn CUTE!

Everything about this is adorable from the pattern choices (love the plaid) to the backing and name plate. What a fabulous idea! I will be stealing that 🙂

I hope you do steal that idea! I always try to incorporate any extra blocks into my backing. I hate to have orphaned blocks lying around. The embroidery just seemed right for this one:)❤️❤️❤️
