I am so happy with my progress on my Simple folk quilt. Over these past three weeks I was able to sew quite a bit. I found that the small blocks fit perfectly in my pocket so I could make a stitch or two while I was waiting for a show while on my vacation.
I was able to finish Mr Horse. He holds the prize for being the last of the animal blocks for this quilt. Yea!!
Now I am working on the eight wreath blocks. I am grateful for my trip because now I have six of them done!
I really like how easy these were compared to the animals. I also like the elegance they are going to add to the quilt.
It has been a great three weeks! I’m so glad you stopped by today. If you have a moment, you may want to head over and see what the other quilters are stitching up!
This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

Until next time!
Such a lovely colour palette! I’m looking forward to seeing how everything comes together, and I’m guessing it won’t be long now.

I think I have a fat quarter of that bluish rain drop fabric! You must be so glad to have finished Mr. Horse, he was such a challenging block with those tiny pieces. Your applique has reached professional level! You also got enough done for the two of us!
