My heart is very happy today because I opened my first gift of Christmas! I have a SWEET friend who is part of a group where we send boxes of goodies to each other.
This year, I was lucky enough to have Karrin @ Karrin’s Crazy World think of me all year and fill a box of fabric, chocolate, and handmade items just for me:). Look at all of these beautiful things!!
There are 24 fat quarters in shades of black and cream, a beautiful nativity pillow cover that her friend made, notepads and chocolate. By my favorite things are the hand stitched items.
She stitched this beautiful mug rug for sipping cocoa and enjoying a snack in the morning while I sew. Isn’t it the cutest thing?:)
Her stitching is so lovey!
I love the needle case she made me. It even has my initial on it! I feel the love<3
She also made me a little carry bag that will be PERFECT for carrying my hand sewing on trips or even holding them next to my bed with my new matching needle case inside.
The stitching on the outside is so delicate and pretty.
Even the handles are fun. She used Moda ribbons to make them a bit sturdier. Isn’t she smart?!
And the cherry on top is this absolutely amazing pin cushion! Wool appliqué is my favorite. She did a great job!
And last but definitely not least, she embroidered my name on it!
Yes, I am one lucky girl:). Thank you Karrin!
Merry early Christmas to all of you, my readers. I hope you will splurge and open or even buy yourself a SWEET little treat just for you! Until next time,
