Delilah Quilt Hugs

I have finally had a moment or two to work on my beautiful Delilah Quilt. The last blocks I made were the “x” blocks. Those little kisses were so cute!

This month I worked on my “o” blocks or my Hugs:)

I always find the hardest part of this quilt to be the choosing of those eclectic fabric patterns.

Even though the fabrics come with the templates each month, I still really need to focus and plan so the circle actually shows up and doesn’t get lost like this one did.

It looks much better with a carefully chosen contrast of colors.

Now that circle pops! SWEET!

I have also been having a lot of fun sneaking in my MYSTERY QUILT fabric in my projects.

This QAL is like a treasure hunt where we “I Spy” the fabric everyone is adding to their projects. How fun is that?!😊

It has been a great quilting/sewing day. I am in love with this X’s and O’s! I feel the love❤️❤️

I am so glad you dropped by today. I hope your day is filled with many warm X’s and O’s

    1. Oh thank you so much! This is a block of the month Quilt by Jen Kingwell that will be available to the general Quilting population this year sometime. I am sewing by machine. I am not confident enough in my hand stitching to attempt a hand pieces quilt yet:)❤️❤️

  1. It’s a great quilt design. Ahhh there’s nothing to hand quilting, I like the slow steady pace. The curves on this pattern intimidate me though! I’ll have to keep my eye out for this pattern.

  2. My favourite hug is the one in the centre of the last shot – but you’d have guessed that anyway, wouldn’t you, with the hot pink and red on a black background? And for the kisses? Top right 🙂 It’s looking really good!

  3. What a delightful Delilah quilt! Wonderful for someone with time on their hands, like a sick child, to look for all the different things there are in it.

  4. I love the fabrics in this–those conservation prints are so charming! And you explained, very well, the difficulty in getting the hugs to show up. You have it all figured out–they look great!
