Summer is here, school is out, and I am finished with my Be-Attitudes Quilt!
It is always a bitter sweet, but mostly SWEET feeling when I finish a quilt. My sewing space feels a bit empty when the blocks and colors are gone. But the happiness of seeing the end result is the crowning jewel so it is worth it:)
I have been working on this Be-Attitudes since January of this year. I especially liked sewing along with my dear friend Kathleen❤️. She kept me motivated.
Each little block was a little mini-quilt in itself. Here are a few of my favorites-
This little puppy is exactly the block I need right now as my not so little puppy is having a hard time being house broken. -Maybe Be Patient would fit here too! Lol😊
I do love the flowers on this Be Patient block though. I also like the water coming from the watering can:)
But since I am giving this quilt to a wonderful teacher for her classroom, this Be Smart Block must be my favorite:). I hope the children will look at this quilt and try to Be Smart and Be Kind… I also hope they will look at it find the little details like an I Spy type of quilt.
There is so much to see and learn from letters to colors, seasons, family, attitudes, and more.
If any of you are interested in making your own Be-Attitudes quilt, the pattern is from a booklet by Art to Heart.
Thank you so much for dropping by today. Until next time!
This is my second finish for this quarter’s Finish Along. Yea!!
Just lovely! Congratulations on a wonderful and timely finish 🙂

I’ve got that book on my shelf of things to do myself. Now I’m torn as to what colorways to go. Love love love them both. You have inspired me to get the book out an dust it off. Gorgeous quilts you two!!!!

Your quilt is just wonderful and fun! How will you ever be able to give it away? My favorite block is the Be Positive. Nothing is more positive than shouldering the weight of extra sweets! Most of the blocks tell the lesson just by looking at the picture.

Oh thank you Karen! I agree with that cute little ant holding up the sweets❤️. I was going to hold on to this quilt, but when a teacher mentioned that she would place it in her classroom, I knew that I wanted this quilt to inspire young people. I can’t think of a better way to share my love of quilting and theses wonderful messages. 😊❤️❤️

I agree with you Emma about the different color schemes. I think that is one of my favorite things about QALs or even Bake Alongs, I like to the individual variations.😊
